What we collect
We collect only what we need to run CrawlReady:
- Account information — your email address and login credentials when you register.
- Scan targets — the website URLs and domains you submit for scans, checks, and monitoring.
- Scan results — the reports, scores, history, and competitor comparisons tied to your account.
- Technical data — standard log data such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
We use this data to run your scans and monitoring, generate and store your reports, keep your account and token balance working, and send service emails — reports, monitoring alerts, security notices, and support replies. That's it.
What we don't do
We never sell your data. Your scan history, target URLs, and email address are never sold or licensed to third parties.
Who else processes it
A few infrastructure providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to operate the service and under confidentiality obligations: Cloudflare (hosting), Oracle Cloud (scan processing), Resend (email delivery), and Polar (payment processing). When you buy tokens or a monitoring plan, your card details go directly to Polar — we never see or store them. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you logged in and remember your preferences, such as your theme choice. No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking pixels.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. We keep your scan history while your account is active so you can compare scores over time; past reports stay available for 24 months.
Your data
Your data belongs to you. You can delete your scan history anytime from your account. To delete your account and everything tied to it, contact us and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. We'll post the new version here, and email you about significant changes.
